1965 The Who have van stolen after leaving it parked outside Battersea Dogs’ Home while they go in to buy a guard dog. They get van back but lose £5,000 worth of equipment

1968 Rolling Stones’ current single, ‘Street Fighting Man’, banned in Chicago and other US cities
